It is a mixture of a pre-recorded course, group sessions, a community of Egyptian learners, and 1:1 personalized feedback and accountability. Basically, you get everything you need to learn Arabic, all in one place! It's totally different than any course you've ever seen to learn Egyptian.

HOW DOES "The Egyptian Academy" WORK?

You will start by learning the introductory phrases such as "How are you?" and "What's your name", and learn how to answer them by looking at the pattern of Egyptian grammar without focusing too much on it, so more speaking and less grammar. Each lesson we will add more phrases to our conversation. Our sentences will get more and more challenging, from "I work" to "I wake up early to go to work because I work from 9 in the morning to 6 in the evening Monday to Friday", for example.

I speak 7 languages at different levels, so I've been in your place and know how it feels to learn a new language. If you're a beginner Egyptian Arabic learner interested in having conversations in Egyptian from day 1, then this course is perfect for you!
This academy is a 21-day challenge, where you study for 15/30 minutes everyday on your own and come to group sessions once a week to practice. You will have 2 rest days per week so it takes one month to finish the whole program.
- You get lifetime access to the course study material (video/quizzes etc.)
- Group sessions will take place once a week for one month
- Indiviudal 1:1 coaching session is valid for 3 months
The Egyptian Academy program is made of 21 days, including the group session days. Since it lasts for one month this means that you will have 8/9 days off with no study time.
You're expected to study 4 days a week to be ready for your weekly session at the end of the week.
After you sign up, you will choose all the suitable times that work for you from my schedule, and an appropriate time will be chosen according to the group's preferences.
If no one signed up during the same week, you may even have 1:1 sessions instead of group!
My current schedule is every day between 10 am to 5:30pm except for Friday from 8pm to 12am (Egyptian Time zone; GMT+3)
It's recommended that you try your best to join so you have the chance to practice speaking!
However, If you can't make it, you will receive the recordings of the lesson you missed. (Unless only one student attends then the recording will be sent only to them)
If the time doesn't work for you, you can request to postpone your start date or switch to another group.
The Egyptian Academy includes:

No worries! You can enrol now and have lifetime access to the course material so you can go through them whenever you have time. If you can't join the group sessions now you can either request the recordings so you can watch them later or postpone your sessions start date to an upcoming time when you're ready.
Yes! No problem at all. I use Franco-Arabic; transliteration in all of my explanations, along with the Arabic script. So you can follow in both.
You don't need to learn how to read and write if your aim is to speak!
Absolutely not. The Egyptian Academy is only suitable for beginners or upper beginners. Its aim is to take you from zero level to basic conversational. If you already have a good level in Egyptian and want to improve your speaking you can go for individual coaching sessions with me instead.
